Cloud Cafe interviews 3Tera about AppLogic (the software powering Agathon Group’s grid service) in this fascinating exploration of cloud computing and Applogic’s particular take on it.. The conversation gets pretty deep when they’re discussing possibilities of open interfaces between cloud vendors, but stick with it. For me, the most interesting material started about halfway through when they talked about the tremendous cost savings clouds can provide for organizations of all sizes and shapes.

^*One change from the podcast is that Silkfair, mentioned in the interview, is now running on an Agathon Group “private cloud.” Moving the app from its old home to Agathon Group was really as easy as they make it sound in the podcast.
